Your lead magnet is the file a campaign delivers. Here's how uploading, storage, and the tracked link a commenter actually receives all work.

Uploading a lead magnet
Upload a lead magnet from the Assets page. Files are private from the moment they're uploaded (nobody can reach one by guessing or browsing storage), and every download happens only through a tracked link generated for that specific delivery.
The Assets page is where every file a campaign can deliver lives, independent of which campaigns use it. Uploading stores the file in private storage under your workspace: there's no public URL to it at all; the only way anyone outside your workspace ever reaches the file is through a tracked link ReplyMagnet generates when it's actually being delivered.
An asset can be attached to more than one campaign at once, and the same file doesn't need re-uploading for each new campaign that wants to deliver it.
How delivery works
The DM a commenter receives carries a short tracked link, not the raw file. PDFs stream through the ReplyMagnet domain itself rather than redirecting to a storage URL, and every time that link is opened, it's logged as a download event tied to that lead and campaign.
When a campaign delivers a file, the link in the DM points at ReplyMagnet's own domain (never at the storage provider directly) and streams the PDF from there when opened. That matters for two reasons: the commenter never sees or has to trust an unfamiliar storage host, and every open of that link is something ReplyMagnet can actually observe and count, which is what powers the download numbers on Assets and in Analytics.
Each tracked link is scoped to one delivery: it can't be repurposed to serve a different asset than the one it was minted for, even by someone hand-editing the URL.
Replacing a file
To replace a lead magnet, upload the new file as a new asset on the Assets page, then open the campaign in Edit and point it at the new asset. Links already delivered before the swap keep working against whichever file they were minted for.
There's no in-place file replacement on an existing asset: uploading a corrected or updated version creates a new asset row, which you then attach to whichever campaign(s) should deliver it going forward via the campaign's Edit screen. This keeps history honest: a link sent out last week still delivers exactly what was promised at the time, while every new comment from today onward gets the new file.
Common questions
Can someone find my lead magnet without going through a campaign?
No. Uploaded files are private storage with no public URL: the only way to reach one is through a tracked link ReplyMagnet mints for an actual delivery.
Does replacing a file break links already sent out?
No. Links already delivered keep pointing at the file they were minted for; only new deliveries from campaigns you've repointed to the new asset get the replacement.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. A flat 25 MB limit applies on every plan; the upload flow tells you if a file is over the limit before it uploads.
