ManyChat's Pro tile reads $29, but the real monthly rate, no annual commitment, is $39. Business reads $69 and is really $99. Chatfuel's AI PRO reads $49 and is really $69. Nothing dishonest is stated outright; the default view just isn't the number most people are looking for. The second trap is what a plan is billed against. Several tools here charge per contact: every person who messages, comments, or gets messaged counts against your plan for that billing month, whether they're new or someone who came back. A quiet account can look inexpensive for months and then jump the moment one post performs well. ReplyMagnet bills per engagement instead: one unit for every reply or DM actually sent, so the number tracks what got answered, not how many people exist in your contact list. Neither model is automatically better; the point is knowing which one you're agreeing to before a post takes off.
Meta App Review, not a partner badge
ReplyMagnet's Instagram integration runs on the official Graph API, and the permissions it uses were approved through Meta's own App Review process in August 2026, the review where a Meta reviewer watches the actual comment-reply-and-DM flow before signing off. That's a different thing from the Meta Business Partner or Meta Tech Provider badges several vendors in this table carry, and ReplyMagnet doesn't hold either of those separate programs.

InstantDM
InstantDM is the most direct threat on feature depth at its price: $24.99 a month for what it calls truly unlimited DMs, plus webhook and send API access and AI agents built on Claude, GPT, or Gemini. Its cheaper Legend Pro tier ($9.99) already names unlimited contacts as a feature, with none of the per-contact math ManyChat requires, a real reason to look here if volume anxiety is the whole problem you're solving for. Its pricing page shows only a 7-day trial while the homepage separately claims 500 free credits a month; the two don't agree, so verify directly before signing up.
LinkToDM
LinkToDM's Pro plan, $15 a month with a $10 annual rate, unlocks unlimited contacts and an "AI intent trigger," the same smart-matching idea ReplyMagnet ships on every plan including free. Its free tier is real but deliberately thin: no scheduler, no follow ask, no data collection, and no AI at all, so the comparison that matters is Pro to Pro, not free to free.
Spur
Spur is the pick if you're running a Shopify or D2C store rather than delivering a lead magnet.
