Your leads: statuses, search, export

Every person who's triggered a campaign shows up in Leads, with their follow status, contact details, and last activity. Here's how to read and use that table.

Who appears in Leads

Anyone who triggered a campaign shows up in Leads, whether or not they went on to complete a gate. Three tabs filter the list: All, Followers, and Email captured, so you can look at your full audience or narrow to just the people who've taken a specific action.

A lead's very first row is created the moment their comment matches a live campaign, before any follow, email, or phone gate is involved. Everything that happens afterward (a verified follow, a submitted email, a downloaded file) updates that same row rather than creating a new one, so one person always shows up once, not once per action.

The All tab shows everyone. Followers narrows to leads with a confirmed follow. Email captured narrows to leads who've submitted an email. Switching tabs doesn't change what's stored: it's just a filter over the same underlying list.

Follow status

On Instagram, 'Verified' means the follow was confirmed through Instagram's API: it is a real follow, not an honor-system click. 'Not yet' means no verified follow has been recorded for that lead.

The Follows you column shows exactly two states for an Instagram lead: Verified, meaning ReplyMagnet checked directly with Instagram's API and confirmed the follow really happened, or Not yet, meaning no such confirmation exists: either they haven't followed, or the campaign never asked (no follow gate is on). There's no in-between status and no self-reported "I followed" claim counted as Verified.

This distinction matters most on campaigns with the follow gate on: a lead only reaches delivery after Verified is true, so if you see Verified on a lead, that follow genuinely happened according to Instagram itself.

Search

The search box matches username, name, email, and phone at once: type any part of any of those and matching leads filter instantly, no need to pick which field you're searching.

Search runs against all four identifying fields together, so typing part of an email finds the same lead a search on their username would. It's a live filter over whatever tab is currently selected, so searching within Email captured only searches among leads who've already given an email.

CSV export

CSV export is available from the Basic plan and up. The file is RFC-4180-safe (fields with commas or quotes are properly escaped) and includes platform, username, name, campaign, follower, email, phone, and last activity as columns.

The export button downloads exactly the rows currently visible (whatever tab and search filter are active) as a CSV, with one row per lead and a header naming every column. Because usernames and campaign names can contain commas or quotation marks, every field is quoted according to RFC 4180 so nothing shifts columns when opened in a spreadsheet.

On Starter, the CSV button is replaced with a locked state pointing at the Basic plan; leads themselves are still fully visible in the table, just not exportable to a file until you upgrade.

Lead visibility on the free plan

Starter shows only the last 30 days of leads in the table. Older leads aren't deleted: they stay stored exactly as captured, and upgrading to any paid plan reveals your full history instantly, with nothing to restore or re-import.

The 30-day window on Starter is a visibility limit, not a retention limit: leads older than 30 days are hidden from the table (with a banner telling you how many are hidden), but every field (follow status, email, phone, campaign) is still stored untouched underneath. The moment the workspace upgrades, that same data reappears in the table with no delay and no separate action needed.

Common questions

Does "Verified" ever mean a like was checked instead of a follow?

No. Instagram's API only exposes whether someone follows an account, not who liked a post, so Verified always refers specifically to a confirmed follow: nothing about likes is checked or claimed.

Will I lose old leads if I stay on Starter?

No. Leads older than 30 days are hidden from the table on Starter, not deleted: they're safely stored and reappear the instant you upgrade.

Can I export leads on Starter?

Not to CSV. That's a Basic-and-above feature. Every lead is still visible in the app on Starter (within the 30-day window); only the file export is gated.
